Thats Our Maggie

After waiting all day i finally got a phone call. Maggie is doing fine!! I cant pick her up yet though, the doctor has to work on her paw. The doctor also said that Maggie refuses to go into her cage and stays on a pad right outside of it. He also said Maggie is a big grump unless you give her meds and she will be nice only to the nurse that gives them to her. That's my little Maggie all right. Maggie is apparently being a twerp and not peeing when they tell her to, and even peed in one of he nurses work stations. i am going to pick Maggie tomorrow afternoon. So don't worry, with her attitude she has to be fine. Thank you all for the support and good wishes

I have good news, and bad news. Despite Maggie's broken leg and paw she is walking. every hour one of the nurses takes her on a walk around the facility. When i went to visit her she was on one of her walks. When she saw me she tried to jump up but her couldn't because her leg. she was so sweet and i couldn't hold back the tears. I went in to her "room" and plaid tug with her and then she fell back to sleep. So anyway the bad news. She is having trouble breathing because of her collapsed lung so they nurses have to monitor that. What i worry about the most is that she will have hip problems when she is older, i know i should take it one step at a time but cant help it.... If she stays how she is now she will be able to come home tomorrow. Everything is just so sad. I feel very guilty today, and keep seeing her get hit again and again in my head.Thanks for all the support everyone, ill either update again tonight or tomorrow morning.

Hi everyone, Maggies Mom here,

The Vet thinks Maggie has a has a little bit of internal bleeding, and a bruised or partially collapsed lung. Both will heal on there own and even though it sounds bad it isn't very serious. Maggie is expected to be well enough tomorrow to come home. I'm going to go visit her in a little while

One of my New years resolutions was to work with Maggie on her "not coming when called" issue. I should have taught her to come when i first got her. So anyway, the bad news....

Last night when i came home from the grocery store Maggie got out. i live off a pretty busy street and Maggie ran out in the middle of the street and got hit by a car going about 40. The jerk didn't even stop, much less slow down. The good news it that she got hit around the pelvic area and the vet thinks she broke her right femur. Her paw got smashed by the tire. She is very lucky that she didn't break her spine. i tried to pick her up but she insisted on walking to the car, that's good news. When we got to the Vet they hooked her up on fluids and gave her some pain meds. I gust got home and that's about all i know now. The vet is going to call every hour, so ill update you on anything i know.

My Christmas & New Year Resolutions !!!!!!

HAPPPPPPY 2008!!!!

First note: I am SOOOOOO sorry, but i don't have any pix of the snow and stuff from my trip to Arizona. When my stoopid mom went to Costco to get the picks printed she accidentally deleted everything on the memory card when she was importing pictures on Costco's Coompoopers. Even though it is my moms fault i am so sorrrrrrrry.

So anyhoo, i couldn't sleep on Christmas eve cause i was soooooooooooo excited to see what SP had brought me. Come on you FREAK.

Finally at 5:30 AM i couldn't take it anymore. i jumped up and barked in moms ear to wake her up, ripped the sheets off the bed and ran downstairs.

Mom Realised the camera was in the car, so she said MMMMAAAAAAAGGGIIIIEEEE SSSSTTTTAAAAAAAAAAYYYY OR ILL EAT YOU!!!!!!! As i am an Airedale i sat there in tell mom was out of the living room and darted toward the stocking. This is what it looked like when mom came back....

Sinse it was Christmas mom said quote:" Ooh fine since it is Christmas i will only beat you, not eat you":unquote......

Now i know i would have a semi-long post today, but my stoopid mom took all the Christmas postures WITH OUGHT the memory card!!!!! I am getting up at the but crack of dawn tmro, and driving (with mom) to Greer Arizona (The place where my mom spent half her childhood). We will be gone for a week. I PROMISE i will find a way to share my Christmas with all you guys, and make mom get her laptop fixed so she can make LATE Christmas/New year cards. Better late than never i guess. I'm sorry i that i have not been a good blogger, it has been a hectic few months for me and my mom. My 1st new years resolution is to post a lot more, and read blogs more. Wow, that was a short first part of December! I am pretty much behind a year that has to do with my blog. I'm sorry i haven't emailed my Christmas cards, but moms laptop that has all the fancy card stuff is having major issues lately, so if it comes down to it i might just have to send a boring old email, sorry but if passable i will make a good new years card!!!!

Mom has been SO busy with stuff. it isn't funny. i promise i will post a super duper long fin post tomorrow and on Christmas, OK. Ooooh yeah, Sunshade is a calendar girl!!! She is on Friday March 14 in the 2008 365 days of dog calendar, isn't that cool!!! I think i have been a good girl this year, so i want all that hard work to be payed off. Ya know Santa, I'm a Airedale, and its hard for a Airedale to be good. I promise that i wont eat another Christmas, ornament or push mom into the pool with phones/camera, or eat any more of moms Cd's. Oh, and ill try to work on the *not* coming when called. So anyhoo, the mane reason i wasted my time writing this letter, the list.

New Wubba (i ate mine).
New Jolly Ball (ate it).
New Kong (ate it).
New Cuz (ate him).
Life time supply of biscuits.
Life time supply of nylabones.
Thumbs (so i can open the fridge/pantry/front door/back door without mom).

Only 23 days till Christmas!!

Some of you may have found out, maybe not but i have a little Christmas tree for my blog!! You can drop a prezzie (for free) !! You can pick from the long list of stuff, or you can type one in and see if they have it.(ex; i typed in "dog toy" and it gave me a little picture of a rope ball. You can also browse the the list of what i have all ready gotten. So make sure you check it out!!

Next subject; I cant participate in the Christmas card exchange due to the cold hard fact that i cant get mail. I know, it sucks!! maybe next year!! But i do have an alternative, you can send an E-card here. Its still not the same, but its better than nuttin.

Next subject; Mom promised me that i would see snow this year. so i am going to Greer AZ (where my mom was for a few weeks last summer) we are renting a little 1 room cabin for a few days, and i will probably be gone foe like a week or so. Greer is up in the White mountains in Arizona. mom went there during the summer when she was a little kid. back then there was only like a couple homes and a few bed&breaky places,,, now there are like 1.000 houses and tons of restaurants and hotels. a lot has happened since the dinosaur where around.... im going the day after Christmas.

well i gotta go put the Christmas tree up, ill blog tomorrow

i got a lot of esplanin to do so buckle up and hold on tight!!

EXCUSE # 1) Moms compoopes (YES BOTH) crashed. the laptop is still a lil screwy and mom got a new desk top (HP replaced computer tower for free)

EXCUSE # 2) Well the fires where a huge hassle, after mom got the house clean her ensurance company sent her an email (before coomper crashed) saying they would cover ash damage (professional cleaning, stuffies like that)

EXCUSE # 3) Mom was busy

EXCUSE # 4) Mom was lazy.....

EXCU(MOM That's enough, i think they get the point)

Well i also got a pet of my vewwie own

A BETTA!!! Her name is Pipsqueak..... Mom was gunna get me a male Betta with those long fins and stuffie, but she saw this one in the verry back, she was sooo skinny, small ,and sick. Mom rescued her from evil fishie abusing petco. i feed her every day (MOM; Every morning Maggie wakes me up at 5:30 to feed her fish. she literally drags me into the office, jumps up on the desk, gets the bottle of fish food and hands it to me.) Anyhoo, she is twice as big and bootyfol than when we got her! she eats a lot to, 8 little kibble thingies a day (MOM: BettaBioGold)

Well its getting late, and i gotta potty. I need my booty sleep, tomorrow mom and me are gunna put the Christmas junk.

I AM SOOOOOOOOOO SOOOOOOOO SOOOOOO SAWWWWWWWWIE I HAVENT UPDATED YOU!!!!! The power was out pretty much all last week, so i couldn't update. the fire came within 2 miles from our house so we had to stay with one of moms friends... the house is fine, and mom is reallllllllly busy cleaning up ash and stuff in/out of the house. strong winds blew a huge flowerpot through a window (and it actually landed on moms camera breaking it), so as you can imagine there was ash every where!! mom is still busy with things, so i might not be able to post for a few day. sorry for such a short post:(

SD wild fires

There is a HUGE fire in San Diego, not just 1 but 8. I'm starting to worry that we might have to evacuate. the closest fire is just 3 miles away with it 0% contained. we are not allowed to leave our homes, and every time mom turns on the news one street closer to us is evacuating. AND there is no dogs allowed at the evacuation centers so if we do evacuate i would have to stay(Mom, NO you wouldn't, we wouldn't go to an evacuation center, we would probably go upstate with family)well i gtg now its time for my potty break. ill keep you posted, and if we do evacuate ill be sure to let you know!!!

Maggies weekly review!! & update

Okay, Today i am gunna do a review for you guys About TUFFIES The worlds 'tuff'est soft dog toy... AKA the PAWfect toy for Airedales or just Terriers in genial... i have 2, an Oscar the octopus and Ellie the eel.. They range form just 6.50 to 99.99 and are based on a scale (1 being a cotton ball and 10 being a piece of steel) the ''softest'' one they make is a 6, so yeah dude these are the real deal

(those are the 2 that i have)

There both 7's and even i myself cant destroy them!! The only place mom could find them is a petco in downtown SD and thats the only place that sells them in SD county. they are pretty half to find but you can get them online at petco and petsmart, and at there web sight. i HIGHLY recommend them and if you ever come across one you should certainly get it !!

SO anyhoo on to more important stuff, like ME. thanks fo all the nice comments, and since so many of you are asking about the ranch so i guess i will tell you.. it was a huge 50 acre ranch up in the mountains. with an Irish terrier named Lola and a yellow lab named Paco i was there for 2 weeks. there is a huge river, lake a huge meadow, and part of the forest, apple orchards and grape vine things.... it was sooooooooo fun.. well i gtg now ill post a pic of myself tomorrow, k?

Okay, i know i was suppoto be back like foreverago so saaaaawwwwiiieee!!!

its a long story,

as you probably know (if mom is doing her job right) moms friend messed up her back in Munich...

well that means mom was in Germany for an extra 3 weeks and when it was time to go home.....

moms passport was expired.....

so.....

she had to wait a week for some American passport thingie place to renew her passport just so she could come home... while mom was in Germany i was on a ranch that my moms friends fathers friend happens to own (so i was safe and sound)

and then when my mom got home there was a whole new set of problems..

1) Internet down

2) compooper crashed

3)MY maggieMOBILE was broken down

and last but not least there was a major water leak thingie in moms bathroom

so yeah.... mom was bizzzzy.

and on top of all that mom had to work like crazy making up for the 3 weeks she lost at work (sometimes staying at work overnight) so yeah.....

its moms fault...

not mine...

SSSAAAWWWIIIEEEE!!! but the important thing is that im back, right?? well i gtg now time for my walkie ill post later today and tomorrow !!!!

(last note: i am soo sad about the loss of Oscar :,,,,( mom found out in Munich and cried for like 2 days. its soooo sad.. well i got to go for real moms getting mad at me)

Okay, first of all we are fine.... I'm still in Munich, a relative has Maggie. One of the 5 people on the trip (which are old friends from school) hurt her back.... really bad. its not broken but she is in the hospitable and is most likely going to be there for a week or so. For the time being i will be in Munich..... So sorry every one it will at least be a week 'till Maggie gets back to her blog (and that's if i can get tickets)
I am deeply saddened by the loss of one of the few Airedales, Oscar. I cant believe he's gone. (i think i should end there, i cant cry here, i am on the hotels one computer and only have (or had) 15 minutes) So i got to go now. And don't worry Maggie and i we will be fine.....

Some how in this strange world mom managed to get to Virginia. they had to evacuate there hotel (she staid in a hotel cux she got "sick" after one night)cuz there is a gigantic wild fire in pretty much all of Utah... i know what your thinking "what the hell is that crazy freak doing in Virginia" while some of you geography challenged pups may be thinking "where the hell is Virginia" well its on the east coast about in the middle... i am in California..... on the west coast.. so anyhoo .... she is gunna miss her plane .... don't really know when she will be back:( Don't worry, im not at camp ... she got a friend to pick e up so i am at her house for the time being

So on to more important stuff, i have come to conclusion .....

the winners of the costume pawty are ..........(drum roll please)......... third place goes to Asta NY for her botyfol dress thingi (MAGGIE; im not to good with dresses so whatever) second place goes to butchy&snickers (yes i know they where 2 different costumes but i like them both ...) and First place goes to ................. HAMMER !!!! for his great costume (im guessing that they are from like an Australian sports team....) see all the contestants here thank you sooooooooo much ben ben this was the bestist pawty i ever have had thanks girl girl for transportation, and every dog (girl girl to) for coming. before mom left me she gave me a new jolly ball, wubba, and a new cuz!!! i miss em all and i miss my mommie :( so the moment you have ben waiting for .....

Hi Everydog, today(or shall i say tonight) is my last day(night) of freedom.... tomorrow mom and the "guy" are going to Utah for some camping (if you have no clue what I'm talking bout' go read my last post, 'news') they will be gone for 1 week (missing my Bday 6~29) and of coarse mom loaded every inch of my bootyfol maggieMOBILE with crap.. her make~up bag weighs 6 pounds, along with two 75 pound suit cases, like 15 pairs of shoes, ooh and wait till you see this!! her toiletry bag weighs 16 pounds !!! she weighed it... now, you may be asking yourself, "what did the 'guy' bring along?" one 2 pound backpack, and a little tiny suit case that weighs 3 lbs.... yeah i know my mom is CRAZY she almost even rented a U-haul trailer.... I could just go on and on....... OK, everydog please leave a comment telling me witch celebrity i most resemble !! then ill make a poll, and that will determine the winner (sawwwwwie bogie, this as taken soooooo loooooonnnng)

if you haven't heard BEN_BENJAMIN is throwing me a Bday costume pawty so go sign up for it !! I'm looking forward to seeing your costume (when i get back!!) ooh yeah, MY HUSKEE BOY sent me a NEW COLLAR(sent before the 'problems') !!! he also sent mom some hand made (by his mom) earrings that mom is wearing right now... ill make it fun and have a contest .. who ever guesses what color it is (and gets it right will move on to the next Question.. and so on. at the end the winner will be the first to be put up on my paw of fame !! Okay, A TON of stuff has happened seance my last post.... Mostly bad... 1st off, i think huskee boy hates me !!!!! *TEAR* in his most resent post he asks if any other girl doggie what to do *yeah* with him (you know *thump* *thump* *thump*) huskee boy is *supposed* to like me. and then he makes this kissing contest thingy..... what ever .. ill see what he has to "say" about the e-mail to sent him ....

#2. clumsy mom fell in the pool with the new camera, 2 cell phones and a bunch of nail polish ...... the tube thing broke dying pants/blouse black/red (2 tube things, one red, the other black .... cellphones, camera are ruined ...... ooh well, one of the phones has insurance as well as the camera ...

#3 a few days ago MY cousin (moms nephew) "came out" about being gay.... and got kicked out by his own father(moms brother in-law) his mom (moms sis) is kinda mad/sad but didn't want him kicked out. well he got kicked out... (he is 16, according to mom waaaay to young to be living on his own..) soooooo my ooh so kind mom went to the Cort and is now he can legally live in moms "household" (i feel sorry for him). mom is actually proud of him for being brave enough to "crack" and also feels vawwie sawie for him (just emagen how he feels getting kicked out of a family that he has lived with for 16 years) .. tomorrow he is officially moving in with us and mom is pretty excited cuz they(him and mom) have always ben vewwie close and to Mom its kinda like having a friend move in.(and her having another pawsonal slave) i am although not a happy camper.. sure, its always nice to have another pawson around the house to annoy, but i have to give up MY bedroom , and start bunking with mom. i KNOW !! how horrible !!

#4 mom is driving to Utah to go camping.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH !! MOM+CAMPING=NATIONAL DISASTER !!! Mom Hates camping (she likes to take showers) this is gunna be sooo funny ..(mom; the one and ONLY reason that im going camping is because aunt is a control freak. she is that type of person that said were going camping in Utah OK !! not, I'm going camping in Utah, what to come? like most people would say.. i kind of wish my cast was still on so i could use that as my excuse!!) the one thing she IS happy about is is that she wouldn't be getting tortured alone her nephew is coming happily coming along for the ride !!!

Last note; sawwwwie it took like forever to post something, nothing is wrong, mom is fine, and gets the cast off tomorrow. we are just realllllly busy, i was sick (i ate a CD, and mom was sooo scared , she took me to the emergency vet at 2 AM and they made me puke, and gave me HapPY PilLz (mom thinks they where "fake" pills just to calm her down)and the vet found a shard of CD in my tum-tum so i Had to puke even more ... its a long story, ill get into it later .. my evil mom is driving to Utah to see family, and camp with them. seance my mom is not at all an "outdoors person" she is not looking forward to that... and guess what ?!?! she will be gone for my B-Day.. she is soooo EVIL. and a week after she gets back she is going away for a month... poor lil me:((

You should know by now that i live in California ... this is Cali ( for you dum-dum folks ) i live in Chula Vista , right outside San Diego . we live about 6 miles away from downtown ...

See , this is San Diego county .... Chula Vista is as south as you can get in So Cal . you also see Coronado , the island . dog beach is along the Long Tail of Coronado ( okay , so its not technically an island , but whatever ... )

I hurt mom ....

Yes , its true . well , its a sorda long story (kinda) ....

the story ..

So my mom and her "friend" (the guy who helped make MY grass pit) took me on a loooooooooong walk today . past MY park (2 miles away from my house) past the mall (5 miles away from my house) even past the super huge Von's (7 miles away from home) well , about 2 blocks away from the super humongo Von's (food store) there is a petco . my mom and her "friend" took me in front of petco , and even coincided the HUGE event of going in petco *eye roll* . i was super hyper and excited cause i saw another dog (nothing new) so i pulled mom off her feet .. well her knee hit the curb and she started screamed , so loud the manager of petco came out to tell my baby of a mom to shut the hell up . well her knee was reallllllly bloody and her chin was scraped . so her "friend" called another friend to pick them up and drop them off at my house . when we got home the "friend" put some soap and cleaned her knee up . well every time he touched it she screamed her head off . well it wasn't getting any better and my mom was crying so hard and loud that we know sumpin was wrong . sooooooo we jumped in MY maggieMOBILE (with the "friend" driving) and we went to the hospitable . (yes i know , no dogs allowed , but when my mom wants something she makes her point to gets it . once she even pretended to be smart , she is blond . oops i mean blind , not blond hehehehehe . so anyhoo she pretended to be blind just so i could go in a restaurant with her) so anyway , when we got to the ER we had to wait for like a kigillion hours (mom; 4 hours) and finally they gave her pain m:)eds and took an X-RAY . apparently it takes another 5 hours to get the results back , so off to the computer room to check my blog (that's why i left some of you (early) and it turns out my mom has a chipped knee cap ...... and she needs 11 stitches from the cut . well after 5 hours of sewing up my moms leg and getting like a life time supply of pain meds we are home . they cant do anything about the chip , so my mom will be on crutches for like a month :( guess what that means ?? no walkies :( ooh and the guy (moms "friend") is staying the night (downstairs on the couch) in case mom needs anything ... (to her safe i am sleeping in her bed with her instead of my bed with myself :) well i gotta go now , moms in pain ...

So , every-dog has ben posting about frosty-paws (see how food based this world is...)(mom: word = MAGGIE !!!) and seance summer is almost here i thought i should start up the frosty-paws machine a lil early (machine as in MOM !!) SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ................... (DRUM-ROLE PLEASE) today i am guna show you how to make frosty-paws , SoCal style !!!!

FROSTY-PAWS SOCAL EDU'

What ya need ,

1 small carton of low fat lemon yogurt

1 oz of H2O (water)

2 strawberries

5 blueberries

1 half banana

1 oz of honey , honey !!

1 pinch of Cinnamon

step 1; dump yogurt into a medium bowl

step 2; mix in honey , stir well !!

step 3; chop up half of banana and dump in blender

step 4; mix strawberries , blueberries and H20 in the blender

step 5; turn blender on

step 6; stir mixter into yogurt tell well mixed .

step 7; pour mixture into yogurt cup and freeze for 30 min'

step 8; after 30 min sprinkle cinnamon on mixture and stir

step 9; stir every 30 min , till it looks like ice cream !!

step 10; ENJOY !!!

Butchey&Snickers sweet Mama made a boooootifol banner for the blog , and put it up for me (thank you soooo much !!!) and my mom changed the template color , and added some beach thingies !! She also added mozik (mom: music) ; the "beach boys" . mom totally absolutely positively hates them , but thought it would go pawfict with the theme !! i hope you like my blog even better now !!!!!

i am 100 percently back to my normal (or not) self !!!!!

thanks for all the nice comments :) i guess i can forgive my mom for all the bad stuff she has done to me over the years sense she kinda sorta saved my life . just think about it , what if she spent , say 1 more minute drying her hair , just that one minute would determine life or death . creepy how the circle of life works . you could eat a KOOkie , go pee , or do zoomies around the whole house all in one minute . or you could droned .

so anyhoo , my mom started my swimming lessons today . she picks up(65 lb) me up and slowly walked into the pool . i start to paddle , and paddle , and scrape moms whole right side of her body and then after like 10 minutes she lets me go ..... i swim for the first time !!!!!! i also cling to the side of the pool and do the splits with my front legs for the first time . so mom went and pried me off the side of the pool and "guided" (pull) me to the stairs . i get out , and mom picks me up and the whole process happens again ...... 14 times ..... till i finally have it down to a fine art . then she throws me in , the deep end . i go under .... mom gets scared ....... she looks down in the water ...... i plop up to the surface and swim tothe stairs !!!!!!!! yeaaaaah !!! i did it !!!! i run (jump) to mom and jump (all 4 paws) on my mom !!!!! (this is true) and she is holding me and i lick her face !!!!!!! for like 10 minutes then we jump in together !!!! we both swim to the stairs !!!! now i can swim !!!!!!!!!!! mom doesn't have to worry anymore !!!

sometime this weekend we will go to petco to get a life vest for yours truly , and hopefully go to dawg beach !!!!! (note: i still don't "like" to swim , but at least i know how to get out

sooo , i was thinkin i wanted to post about my family tree .... before i magically came along my mom has had 2 Airedales , and one half Airedale . when my mom was a little kid she got a half Airedale from the pound named Sammie , Sammie went everywhere with my mom ( i mean everywhere ! Disney land , the mall etc.) he died when he was 8 , and she got another Airedale when she was 16 named jack . when she was 17 she got another Airedale to keep jack company , well it wan only appropriate to name her Jill . one year later jack died from cancer . so when Jill was 7 i came along . last year in august Jill got hit by a car and died . so here i am all alone with the Airedale killer . not one Airedale has lived past 7 . i hope to be the first , which might not happen due to the "event" yesterday (MOOOM) ooh well . well i got to go now , I'm getting sleepy !

yesterday wasn't a very good day .

i fell in the pool when mom was in the house drying her hair after a shower .

sence i cant swim , a got realllly scared and couldn't get out . then when mom finally was done drying her hair she herd splashing , and gasping . she ran as fast as she could downstairs to the pool , and found me at the bottom of the pool wiggling , and trying to get to the surface for air . well mom jumped into the pool (minutes after a shower) to rescue me . she use to be a lifeguard in high school , so she knows CPR , she also got trained to use it on dogs . after she got me to breath she picked me up ran to MY maggieMOBILE and rushed me to the emergency vet . when we got there i was coincided an emergency , and saw the vet ammediutly . well i had to get alot of water pumped out of my lungs and a few shots . i also had to stay the night to make sure i was allright and mom picked me up this morning . im fine now , just a little sleepy , and later on mom said she was going to teach me how to swim , so if i fall in again ill be ok . she also said if im a good girl we might be able to go to the beach on Sunday !!!!!!

soo don't worry , im fine !! i think the war is over , and it was a tie !!!!!

MOMS trip to petco ....

guess what , my mom went to petco today , WITH OUT ME !!!!!

OK , alot of you know about the war between me and boo . ill tell you how it started , here it is .

i was just lookin through some of the blogs , and i saw a buncha comments on on billy's blog from boo . ooh no , they wernt just comments , they where about billy being one of boos new bf's . sense i dontwant boo hurting billy , (plus boos a perv) so i went to leave a nasty comment on boos blog . well it just took off from there , and all of a sudden boo mentioned war . i know it is kinda hard to understand , but that's pretty much the best way i can say it .

War is scheduled for Monday . our official reporter is snowball , so for latest news (next week) go to her blog . i have ALOT more dogz on my side then boo , he only has simba , what a looser.

i am starting a weekly review , its about things i try'ed and liked .

so , this week i try'ed "Zuke's MINI Naturals"

these treats are all natural , chicken based treats , first ingredient is MEAT , in this case chicken . no corn added , and all natural ingredients !!!!!

yum-o-meter ; ill give it a 8 out of 10 kooKIES . yummy , but a little to small , and not really that POW you want . great training treats !!!!

smell-o-rama-meater ; 10 out of 10 kookies . they smell soo yummylicious !!! (not to those hoomans though)

the treats are about a half an inch , or about the size of a cheerio (cereal)

(yes , that's a goldfish , mom cant find a tape measure , sawwwie)

my mom is very very very very sad , to the point of tears

i am glad i joined DWB just soon enough to meet him and know him during the last sweet , happy part of his life . i am glad Eil is going to keep up his blog in memory of him , so i will keep his link as fufu the hamster . I'm glad he was part of DWB and to pretty much be our mascot .

hi ya all ,

today was kinda sort of boring , although am happy to report there was no shooting at SDSU . for the last few days mom & some guy from her job (i think there's a little sumsum goin on ...)(mom: umm yah right !!!!!!!!!!!!!) have ben working on a grass pit for mwaself in the back yard . as you probably know there is no grass in my back yard (hahahahahaha that sounds kinda funny;) and an airegirl like me needs a lil grass cuz my butt has a mind of its own ,ya know what I'm talkin about right ?

so anyhoo , today mom woke up at a bright and early 12:35 am , i Had my usual breakfast of a raw eggie , slice of ham and a cup of rice crispies with milk , yumyum , it was soooo yummylicious (probably cuz i was about to starve to death as it was 12:50 am) after that we hopped in the maggiemobile (witch i now haft to wair a seat belt in) and drove off to home depot to buy grass seed for my grass hole(why do i love saying that ?)mom played stupid helpless flirt with the ugly checkout guy to get a discount (mom: well it works .....) on grass seed , who needs a discount for grass seed , mean its like 2.50 for like a billion pounds . geez what a cheapskate ....

after that mom&me drove to PETSMART !!!!!! i ran and pulled my way in and headed for the toy isle , but nooo mom said we where only here for food . DAMIT !!!!! as we where about to check out mom saw a DVD for dogs to intertain us while our hoomans abandon us (this DVD will come in handy alot for me ...)after petco mom took me to the park / 2 mile running trail to go for a quick jog YYEEEEEEESSSSS , i love jogging !!!! there is a little meadow with a pond and an off leash park at the half way point where people who are running rest and stretch and all that boring stuff . while mom was resting i decided it would be a good idea to go for a quick dip in pond and then role in dirt/goosie poo/dog poo/someones spit/week old ham sandwich then reality kicked in . mom started screaming at me , i realized i now need a bath and a 3 hour grooming session at petco . mom got mt leash hooked it to my (before) pink (now brown and black) collar and ran the last mile to the MAGGIEmobile . mom drove me to petco (mom:shelled out another 150 dollars for a deluxe bath and grooming session , ooh and btw did i mention she got the same treatment 4 days ago !!??) 4 hours later mom rescurd fluffy bootisol clean fresh fragrant me and took me home . ooh yeah i have 2 very funny storeys to tell you . at a stoplight on the way home from petco a Ferrari pulled up next to us . mom was like ok , cool car and then went back to giving the red stoplight the evil eye . when the stoplight turned green the Ferrari peeled out turned Right and swerves ( front facing sidewalk ) and "corrected" its self and drove on doin like 90 mph . at the next red stoplight mom&me pulled up next to it expecting to see a hot young rich guy but instead it was like a 90 year old old lady !!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ! ok this next story happened like 30 minutes after we got home of mom living up to her blond nature . mom has technical retardation . i tell ya when it comes to electronics moms just soooo stupid . i wanted to watch the new DVD and eat some pup corn . mom got the pup corn from the pantry and put the DVD in the DVD thing , then she turned the TV on , hit input and pressed play . no movie . 3 more minute's , no movie !!!! so mom called the the guy who lives next door to come help her .... when he finally got here he looked at the DVD thing and said , "umm its not on" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

moms trip last summer

Hi ya all , twice a year my mom goes on a trip with a few of her friends from collage , Cancun was one of the 2 . next summer mom is going to Europe with the same friends , and last year was a cruise in Alaska

so anyhoo , mom found her old camera today and realised it was full of pictures from last year , i know, any normal hooman would of gotten them developed already, but my mom is not a normal hooman , she is a super lazy freak . i mean her suitcase and carry on from Cancun are still sitting on the floor , unpacked ...

so here is the story of her trip

the story starts out in Seattle Washington . mom got on the sun princess cruise ship early in the morning . that picture above is from her stateroom balcony . then in the evening the ship departs to ketchacan Alaska .

paws in the park is a dog walk/fund raiser to help shelter dogz . as usual mom forgot to set her alarm clock so we where all ready running late , and if that's not bad enough she attempted to teach me how to stay ....

hi everyone , I'm back from camp and moms back from her Caribbean get-away (major eye role) . she got back at around 7:30 pm and went to pick me up at camp . i had ALOT of fun , but was ready to see mom and get home to my own bark-free bed . my mom staid at the coral reef hotel and resort in Cozumel , a small island about 15 miles of the coast of Cancun . here is
the view from my moms balcony (in the morning) .

this is what you see every morning at about 8:00 am .....

this is one of the hotels pools overlooking the water . that sock is for snorkeling/scuba diving . you might not be able to see it but on the far side of the dock there is a latter . mom went snorkeling one day and when she was climbing up the latter a little/stupid/retarded fish bit her .GO TO HELL YOU F***ING FISH !!!!!!!!!!

2 years hurricane Wilma destroyed like half the Beach's in Q.ROO (the stat that Cancun and Cozumel are in) this pic is of the debris from the old hotel or condo that use to be next to moms hotel before the hurricane

in Mexico there are alot of different cars , but there are alot of sunshademobiles . (well not in that picture)

in me-hee-co there are not to many stop lights , instead there are round-abouts (sorry , this was a bad pic , she took it from a bus) this one is HUGE .

a bad day

Today was a bad day , i found out sumpin horrible . my mommy is leaving me in 2 weeks during spring break for Cozumel , a small island of the cost of Cancun MEX . for a whole week , wahwahwahwahwahwahwahwahwahwah . how could she do that, leave her pride and joy in a freaking kennel for a whole week . i might get Kennel cough . but that's not the worst part , she is going away for a whole month , 2 weeks in AZ to be a camp counselor , and 2 weeks in Europe (Germany , Switzerland , Austria , Italy , and France) ahhhhhhhhh I'm gunna be a wreak . i all ready miss her ...................................

Ok , first of all i would like to say , bogie , how could you ?? call liberty maggie , what next you'll 'll call me liberty , liberty maggie , maggie #1 faya , faya sunshade and sunshade maggie #2 geez . OK i guess i can forgive you (sense you have Ben sooo nice to me , but still). so any-hoo , today i have Ben soooooo lazy . today moms friend came over , and guess what , she had a new baby for me . she works at build-a-bear and got one for free , FOR ME. now i have twins !!!, well kinda , they don't look the same ........

so anyway after i got MY new baby i went to MY bed to take a looooooooong nap , the classic airedalian style , seeeeee ?after a 4 hour nap i got up to go potty and went to MY couch in MY office , once again , i went to la la land (mom; she means she went to sleep) . as you can probably see MY couch is loaded with my baby's (mom; i think its time to stop"having" baby's , no more room . there is a huge garbage bag full of her old baby's in the garage)

IM SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPPPPPY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! today i got to go to petco , woooohoooo

the petco we go to is in Conrado , a little island across the bay from down town SD . we drove to Conrado (technically its not a island its a peninsula , there's also a BIG bridge. we took the bridge) and parked in front of petco . evil mom locked me in the car while she went to the bathroom (dont call the ASPCA , its ben cold lately , 54 degrees) when she finally let me out i was SOOOOOO excited that i pulled mom so hard she fell over (mom:yep, literally) i couldnt wait . (i go to petco like twice a month , each time i have a budget of 20 bucks , witch believe or not doesn't go very far) i saw hamsters,mousies,birdes,fishes,and snakes , i REALLY wanted a mousie but of coarse evil mom said NO , grrrr . i went to the toy isle first i saw this soccer ball that had rope things on it , but of corse mom wouldn't let me have it (it was like 35 $ , she would be in debt , and like usual when she sees something she cant have she throws a fit) after like 20 minuets of my "fit" gave up , i went to the bone isle i saw a bone but once more mom would not let me get it , then we went to the shampoo isle , mom saw these stupid portable water bowls and got 5 of them , for 1:50 each , WHAT A RIP OFF , she also got a soda with MY money . then we went to the food section to get my dessert things . and of coarse evil mom said it was time to go . sense i was hyper (and still had like 5 bucks to burn i told mom to put the stuff from petco in the car and walk to waggin tails) . when we got to waggin tails a lady said to my mom "i use to have an Airedale but got rid of it" (why do people always say that??!!) waggin tails is kinda a small store , so we were only in there for a few minutes , i got a 1 foot bully stick and a frosted cookie . then seance i was still hyper we went on a long walkie . on our walkie mo

m found a little sticker and thought it would be a good idea to put it on my little precious head , how evil. all of a sudden it starter raining , mom and i ran back to the car and drove home where i had din-din and chewed up my new bully stick

HAPPPPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY !!!!!! My mom is technically 35% Irish so i guess I'm kinda Irish too . this morning when i went outside to go potty there was a shamrock in MY grass , yeah MY grass . mom said if i eat it i will have bad luck , yup you guessed it , i ate it . well how can you blame me , it was in MY grass in MY yard , so far i haven't had any bad luck . after my shamrock incident mom made me my fave breakybreaky , eggs . she made me play outside till she was done cocooking MY eggs , Finlay she let me in . i went running into the living room , throng the hall , and into the kitchen and to the plate . i stoped

they were SOOOOOO YUMMMMY!!!! after my yummmmmmy breaky it was time to go get my haircut , so we drove the MAGGIEmobile to petco , yes MY maggieMOBILE, its a cool brand new 2007 Nissan Mariano SE awd(i don't know what that means but it sounds cool) . we got it a month ago , and it has cool chrome wheels that i can see myself in . i sit in the co pilot seat next to mom while she drives . so anyhoo when i got to petco i saw this

BIG BIG BIG dog , he was HUGE , like twice the size of me (oh btw, when i got to petco mom put me on the scale and im a whole 63.9 lbs , tell that to the little puny Yorkie next door to me) then this evil fat ugly women/man (cant tell) took me away from MY mommy , @$%!!&* ^*%&$* grrrrrrrr , oh yah did i meson the lady was butt ugly, then mom left me with the women/man and left . Finlay after 4 hours of pain and homesickness mom rescued me and took me home , now i am bootiful (not that i wasn't) , smell good , and am clean . so now here i am enjoying a nice massage (by moms feet) and about to eat din-din . bye

that bone is MINE , all MINEEEEE .ok anyhoo i did nutin today , no walkie, no car ride , no beach , NO nutin . all because mom is "to sick to go to work or play or go on walkie" (more like to lazy ;) sence i have my haircut tommarow mom thoughe i deserve a good din din / zert , i had my usual din din (meat n kibble) but had a good zert of fruite-la-oatmeal . i will tell you how to make it , first you mix milk,oatmeal,cream cheese,penut butter,and a pinch of salt in a small bowl , then add a can of berry mush (same brand as carrot mush , sorry oscar) and stir more . then chop mint (so i dont have "toxic" breath) straw berry's and blue berrys up and add to barf like slurry , mix and enjoy.i have ben sooooooooooooooooooo lazy today , i think ill go to bed , nite nite

today my hooman went to petco to make my grooming apoitment , when she came my world changed. she brought bach a CHILL PILL , yessssss , i have always wanted one . a chill pill is a kong like toy shaped like a pill (heance the name) and splits in half for easy cleaning . the best part is it was freeeeeee . apparntly petco took there own sweet time approving my shot record .mom complanes , manager comes in , mom threatens to sew , she pretends to cry , the manager feels sorry , and gives her a chill pill , literly !!!! lol . she also got free bones but thats a diffrent story , here it is

today at petco my hooman also got me bones called better than bones , and leme tell ya THEY ARE !!!!!!!!! the only bad thing is they only last about 5 sec(for me that is :) the bag specificaly says , "each chewy bone last longer than soft and chewy treat, and doggies will love it . YAH RIGHT !! well at least they got one thing right , there yummmmy !!!!!!!!

feelin hot , hot , hot !!!!

Ok it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO hot here in sandiego C.A . isnt it still snowing in some places . the high today was 89f , HOT !!! but thats nutin compaired to sunday , 98 f . uhh , sometime this week or next week i am suposto get my "hair cut", so a "booboo bair" like me doesnt get a heat stroke like last year (heat stroke; last year in july i was hikeing with my hoomanin in rice canyon and it was 101 f . here i am walkin along with my 4 inch thick coat (fur) in the middle of the summer , in the sun , with the temp. a roasty 101 f outside . out of no where a huge burst of puke came spewing out of my mouth . when i was done "erupting" my hooman checked if my tounge to see if it was black, it was not only black put starting to turn purple . my hooman picked me up ran back to the maggiemobile (holding 67 pound me) and drove (speeding) me to the vet where i got 3 I.V. drips) so anyhoo its only suposto get HOTTER , to hot for an airedailan like mwa . love a hot airdale in hot heat(the first hot has nutin to do with the heat) maggie #2
P.S ; sorry for no pictures lately , apperntly the camra is broken and my hooman is to busy (witch means to lazy)to fix it . ill try to get my hooman off her butt to fix it

sumpin funky is happinin around here , first sunshade then jaffa now bogie . where are they ? bogie has not posted anything in a few days , but thats not the point . i e-maild on the 9th , no awnser . thats just not like bogie , if i e-mail him he usualy awnsers it in a matter of minutes . i know why sunshade/jaffa arnt posting (there moms to busy) but still . maby he and his mom are just takeing a break , but if they are they would of told us . if any one knows anything TELL ME NOW please , im kinda starting to worry

as you probably dont know im a carrot addict, when it comes to carrots i get all freaky . if i eaven hear the word carrot i get all crazzzzzzzzzzy. I LOVE CARROTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. CARROTS are mans only great invention (except for the couch) . so anyhoo about the carrot kong , you need a kong (duh) , a can of nutro helthy desserts carrot cake ( petco 85 cents each) , oatmeal, .5 cup of penut butter , babby carrot, bowl and a spoon
step 1; open can of carrot cake
step 2; mix with milk and stir till liquifed and microwave for 45 seconds
step 3;while in microwave fill in small hole of the cong with penut butter
step 4;when mixture is done cooking ad about i scoope (like a forth of a cup) of oatmeal and mix
step 5;pour in kong (caution:verry messy)
step 6;stuff baby carrot in kong
step 7;fill in big hole with penut butter
step 8;put kong in cup (make sure bottem of kong is not touching bottom of cup
step 9;freeze for 2 hours
step 10; enjoy (eat outside its verrrrrrry messy)

today insted of my usualy walkie i went to cornado , TO PETCO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sence everyone is getting a bully stick i thought i shoud get one to , so i did , a 30 INCH ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!! i also got din din meat , kong cookies , a gift card and card for my dear pal bogie . he helped me start my blog , putting up with me emailing him a bazilion times a day asking stuped questions like ,how do i make a link or sumpin like that. anyhoo about my bully stick , when i got home and my hooman gave it to me and i was scared of it (hooman,she acted like it was an atomic bomb , she would not get near it) i thought it was a snake, then after i got over my fear i went in . OH MY GOD, it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tasty . i ate like a forth of it . then finaly when i couldnt eat one last nibble i collapsed , i was diagnosed with type 2 bully stick coma (kinda like bogies cake coma but from a bully stick) . my hooman rushed me th the couch to sleep my way to healing .

today my hooman went to rei to get me my favorite treats . the idiots at rei didnt have any , so insted my hooman got me a portibal water thing , a clip to clip keys on my leash , a small clip for my collar tags so i can put my tags on a differnt collar easylie and a watch thing to clip on my leash . i also got a natrabone (an organic bone thing only from rei) when i my hooman came home. after i got all my stuff we went on a walkie around my street . i walked by my friend cookies house . i dont think her real name is cookie but thats what i call her . its kinda sad , she isnt allowed in her hoomans house (only in the yard), she has no toys , and doesnt get any attention. i always bring her some bones (hooman: yah sure, you bring'em for yourself and i hafto take one from you to give to cookie) then after like 10 minutes of talking to cookie (through the chain link fence) i hafto go home .I love my walkies . well i got to go

my din din was soooo good i want to share the recipe with you , chicken beef stew.

what you need:
2 cups of chicken broth
.5 cup of water
1 tbsp of flower (optional)
1 cup of cooked meat you choose
.5 cup of chopped/shredded carrots

ok first get your hooman to turn on the stove , then add broth and water to
pot wait till boil then add carrots . wait 5 minutes while you wait role meat in
flower. put in cook for 20 minutes (or when carrots get soft) cool and enjoy
